Salvage Kits? Superior or Normal...? Does it matter?
I heard a rumor that the Superior kits do unveil better upgrades...then I heard that there is no difference.
So what is the deal...? Superior or NOT Superior? That is the question. |

i just heard they are 100 uses so you spend the extra money because you are saving space.
They are A-net's way of saying it's ok to farm. |

Superior vs Expert
I assume you mean Expert Salvage kits, not Normal ones.
The only advantage a Superior Salvage kit has over an Expert Salvage kit is that it offers more uses and takes up only one inventory slot. Otherwise, there is no difference between what you can salvage with either Superior or Expert. You are paying extra for convenience only. |

ID Kits
Same story. Superior ID just has more uses for less space. It doesn't ID any better than the regular ID kit.

I use both superior as I just find it easier than lugging along multiples of each.
I'll never forget that day though in Kryta when I was a mere newb.. I found an armour or something of superior absorption.... I used a normal salvage kit.... *sob sob* -Adam |

There's the standard and superior.
Standard has 25 use's and superior has 100 IIRC... Salvage kits come as standard, expert [more salvaging p0\/\/a!] and superior are the same as expert but with more use's. HTH, -Adam |

Now...is there a difference between the 2 types of ID kits?
I was confused by the earlier responses? thanks in advance for dealing with my mild retardation. |

ID Kits
The only differences between the ID kits are:
- Superior costs more than Standard - Superior has more uses than Standard |
