Sickles themselves aren't rare, but the closer you get to max damage, the more the rarity rises, nearly exponentially.
Most sickles are found in the early areas, from warrior-type monsters. As I'm having a few issues finding this topic on search myself, I'll just have to advise that using the search button will (normally) net you an answer faster than users can respond Thanks |

Believe it or not, The Charr Drop them like mad. When the Halloween thing started and I learned that Charr Carvings could be traded for Halloween items, I decided I would solo my way from Piken Square to the end of the Flame Temple Corridor. I ended up with a little over 100 Charr Carvings, about 80 Charr Hides, and 5 Sickles. The Highest damage Sickle I found was 6-18 damage.

Someone sold a 6-24 Blue UNID Sickle recently, for more money than God has. AFAIK that the highest damage Sickle anyone has ever found.

huh
is it just for the look or what's the point?
I think I've gotten some of those 24ish ones and merchant sold lol (well at least in 20s if that is truly so rare) guess I'll have to be a little more watchful edit - I think I've had sickles and they just looked like axes? Now if they looked like reaper type sickles from diablo2 or EQ.. or maybe I'm thinking scythes now perhaps my confusion lies in the fact they're almost synonymous.. http://www.fellpony.f9.co.uk/country...e/haytime2.htm http://members.aol.com/dargolyt/TheForge/sickle.htm Last edited by CKaz; Nov 04, 2005 at 03:28 PM // 15:28.. |

most people like the look of them, they are very cool when u hold them, and some people just like to collect these kinds of things. a max damage one has never been shown(not saying it hasnt been found) so a sickle with 6-20 or so damage has high value

I found a blue 6-24 one was just precious tho, at The Wilds of a devourer I think. Also, 'bout the charr yea they drop a lot but silly low dmg ones. A friend of mine farmed trolls outside o henge o denravi and found like 3 near 6-20 dmg. 6-24 Ones are the highest I've seen. Sry if I brang up an old post!

I got a sickle drop in the desert? wtf?
I'm trying to lvl up one of my pets, so i decided to do the thirsty river mission for giggles. We killed the first giant for boost and a 6-21 sickle dropped. I kinda stared at it for awhile, i had a few beers and was thinking it was a trick but sure enough it was real. I never knew these dropped in the...desert???

It is plausible.... if so, then there is also probably a chance of a max dropping from such high level creatures...
I can't fathom the amount of effort it'd take to strictly farm giants, though. |

I've farmed sand giants in the open(non-mission) areas of the desert quite a bit. They seem to drop little in the way of weapons other than giant slayer hammers(haha). I've yet to see a giant in those areas drop one; might be something about the missions themselves?

I've gotten, and just sold to merchant, about a million of those things...Alot were in the teens to 20's range in damage... I swear everytime I've went through a mission that had those beast warrior enemies in them I get alot of those..Blue is the highest color I've gotten though. |
