I saw the same monk with all black armour at level 19, and with a secondary class.

The reasoning is, you get all of those extra skill points before you go Post, that way any exp you gain after you go post is just to finish out your levels and get even more skillpoints, instead of wasting exp gaining all of the lower levels to get you to 20 (It allows you sit on a pile of skill points so you can get straight away to skill caps w/o having to spend tons of money).

Anyway in kingdom hearts i remember people setting challenges to get to the highest level (100) in the pre-main game section. You had to spend days if not weeks doing it to get that high and it would be really boring. But i guess people do stuff like that so they can feel superior to everyone else. |

You could also do that pig rounding up thing thousands of times over to get the 25EXP....wouldn't that (although very time consuming) get you to lvl 20?

I don't remember the level of my first character going through the academy, but I would venture it was around 8. With new characters, now I only go and meet the two skill trainers for my primary profession and the two skill trainers for my secondary profession, then it's academy time. Level 1, baby.

True, but at least your meant to spend time to get to level 20 not killing yourself to get to level 17. If you look at how the game is ment to play out, repeatedly killing yourself to get to level 17 in pre isnt how its ment to play out, but then again, maybe it was just like the droknar runs, people thought they weren't ment to be there http://guildwars.gameamp.com/guildwars/gwInterview 2nd Question |

No but think of how much fun they have when they finally go through the academy. Can you imagine the look on the opposing teams face when they see the level of the person?

The removed the pre-sear level cap in an earlier update, quite a while ago.

Yes, mobs can level killing you. It takes a while though, but you can just keep going back, leting them kill you until they gain levels: it is tested and true.

It's something into the 6 digit deaths to level the charr enough so you become level 20 after killing them (repeatedly). I've been told it takes 1-2 months to do this (reach 20). I have seen a level 19 Mo/N in presear. I can post a screen shot if needed, I'm sure I still have it. |
