Nimros the Hunter ? - Guild Wars Forums

Ok, so after finishing the forgemaster quest (fissure) we come across this ranger "Nimros the Hunter" by some lava what apears to be part of the Volcano. What is a level 2 NPC doing way in the back of fissure ? He obviously didnt get there all by himself. Mabe he was the last of his group to survive ? I thought he was going to be some sort of collector. Every quest person in Fissure is a ghost. Who is this level 2 NPC and what is he there for ?

Not too many replies, hmm would really like some insight on this.
Mabe he does something after you clear the Windmill-Hydra area.
Anyone ?

Nope..cleared Windmill Hydra area, found "Miko the unchained"

Still cant get the other door on the back nine to open. Need Rastigen to come running. Anyone get that second castle door to open ?

There are a couple of people in Fissure who just stand around looking pretty (Eternal Lord Taeres looked better as a corpse

)

Nimros gives the quest "The Hunt" which is a very easy and very hard quest. Easy because it requires you to kill 7 weak "shard wolves." They're level 20 scrubs.

It's hard because those 7 scrubs are scattered all over the fissure. In the burning forest, the wailing lord forest, the battle field, the beach, the tower of courage and the tower of strength. Plus one that spawns right next to Nimros.

So, to complete this quest, you basically have to clear 75% of the fissure.

Before taking his quest, clear out the rest of fissure first. I've noticed everytime I take the quest beforehand one gets killed shortly after and anyone who hasn't taken the quest yet won't be able to complete it.
