Is it still possible to farm runes after the recent updates? I havent farmed since august, and it seems like just about every rune farming spot has been "fixed".
Does anyone know if this is still possible? What char and skills are required?
I did a search, but found nothing recent. Just old posts.
Can anyone help? Thx.

just farm areas/parts of areas that you havent been in/farmed before, i got a sup mesmer rune no too long ago and the first time i did arora glade with my w/mo i unlocked sup rune of vigor (it dropped off a mantle person)

What updates? I'm assuming you mean the "AI" update? Where they run from AOE's? Yes. It's still highly possible to farm. People just need unique builds now that don't rely on AOE's to do the job. Sure; it takes longer but look at this way! You can't really die now..whenever a situation gets hectic, rattle off an AOE and they scatter, and then run and healup.

Yes I really like that update so you can use, for example, with my W/Mo the spell "symbol of wrath" to push back away my enemys so i can heal and they come back when I have healed myself.
Then I go further with farming.
Farming is still possible with the right skills, and I can tell you that the Warrior/Monk still is a very good farmer, because of the following skills.
Bonetti's defense ( 75% chance to block and for every block 5 energy )
Some healing skills that keep your health up. I have with healing skills an energy regen of 0, but I use Bonettis defense for getting energy.
With cyclone axe the bonettis defense recharge very fast with 8 enemys around you. For every hit I get 13 health * 8 = Much health per hit.
Ill keep recharging and using my bonettis defense to get energy so i can use cyclone axe as often i want.
So, thats farming without AoE spells......
It still is possible, only it takes a little longer.
