Well ok here how about this, when the EUROPEANS came to settle in america indians came and brought us food on this special day. And since Korea also has a thanksgiving day, maybe the DEVs could have put Thanksgiving on this day. Because there are more people that play in US so they chose US thanksgiving. and since Europeans started US, they should know about Thanksgiving in US, because it was one of the 1st major events here. Its when the Pilgrams landed on Plymoth Rock, were those Pilgrams not europeans? How can the Europeans not study Thanksgiving, and celebrate it?
Doesnt every major holiday originate in the United States?

Thanksgiving wasn't made a holiday until 1864.

I don't know if you know much about American history, but I don't believe we were part of Europe at that time.

Well it wasnt made a holiday until that time, but the time it was participated in was long before that. it was before we decided to revolt agaisnt europe

. because they greeted us near or at plymoth rock

1st thanksgiving was in 1620

And it wasn't held every year. There's even an instance (1676) when it was celebrated in June.

So what exactly is it that you're crying out for?

Why would we celebrate their arrival in America? It'd make more sense for us to celebrate the day they left as I'm sure we were glad to see the back of them

All I know about thanksgiving is it's in November (and thats only from it being mentioned in US shows), don't know when, don't care either. Also, we never did US history in school, why would we? We have more than enough history of our own to learn going back a lot further than the 17th century (or 15th if you take it from when Columbus found the Americas) - American history is only really important to Americans, when I was at school we learn't more about English & European (Royal Houses, numerous wars, Roman's, Ancient Greece, Dark Ages, Medieval period, Reformation, World Wars etc), Middle-Eastern (Crusades, birth of civilization etc) and North African (mainly Egypt) History than we ever did American.

BTW Halloween isn't anything to do with the devil - All Hallows Eve is a pagan festival that pre-dates christianity by several thousand years, and is rewally only celebrated as its become commercial
