I know this is a totally dumb question, but where the hell are griffons that everyone loves to farm?

It is, as it's totally overkilled. Use the search button! =)

But because I'm nice, the majority of griffs people like to farm are outside augury rock in the desert in prophet's path <the desert melee griffons>
