A question about sigils and guild halls
I was wondering, even if someone weren't the leader of their guild, would it still be possible to buy a guild hall for their guild if they had the sigil, or does the ambassador not accept it from anyone but the guild leader?
I ask because the leader of the guild I'm in isn't particularly active, but I was interested in getting the guild a hall myself. Basically, do I have to wait for the leader to come on to give him the sigil to get the hall, or can I just do it myself? |

You either have to get him to do it or have him appoint you to be the leader.

Thanks for the answer, but there's something else I'm curious about: Can your guild own more than one guild hall, on different islands, at a time? If not, is there a way to change the hall your guild owns later on if you no longer want the one you have?

Some guilds have brother or sister guilds with members in both. this is done to practice against each other in unrated Guild battles. But that requires having 2 guilds and shared leadership between the guilds. Its not easy to maintain. Normally the guilds that do this eventually drop one side of it and merge back together. cause its a pain to deal with all the transfering around or guesting back and forth...
As to changing the island. that requires another Sigil. Either earned through tombs or purchased from the sigil trader. So its a pricy concept. Our guild had chaged our island twice since the launch, and normally What we do is if the members Earn a sigil and vote for a change, then I will change it to whatever the vote wins out to be for them on request. However lately we have been happy with what we got. I'm not too keen on the concept of buying a sigil in general, but I understand why its available. BUT... If you already have an island its always nice to honor the winners of a sigil with the option to change a Hall island in the guild if they wish to do so. I have even turned leadership over to some of them on such occassions so they can do it if they want too. Course there is a risk doing this. But thats up to you... |
