Do you atuomatic reach lvl 20 after asended? - Guild Wars Forums

when u reach asend at lvl 10,and after u asend, do u get to lvl 20 after that?

The problem is can u beat ur mirror at that lvl? does ur skills u use as effective as the skills the mirror use?

You don't go to lvl 20 automatically anymore. Now it's a fixed at 50,000 xp. And yes, you can beat doppleganger at that level.

I beleive you have to be level 16.5 to reach level 20 with the 50,000 XP ascension bonus.

Onion is about right. And yes you can beat the mirror at lower levels which I won't go into because there are 50 threads on the subject already. My record for Ascension was a mesmer at lvl 3 (took me a bit to figure out how to do it) but it is possible. Take a look through the Forums or pm me in game and I'll tell you how to beat your mirror. Its not that hard, usually just takes some creative thought or fast typing if you are low level-Pagan

How?-Its been awhile but I believe it was Backfire, Empathy, Chaos Storm and Hex Breaker with lots of "q" and "e". Why?- Because she was character 4 of the 6 I put through PvE and I just didn't feel like doing all the missions, etc. again. I had my warrior run her through (2 accounts) Sanctum, then the desert missions and then about 10 tries before I ascended her. Now I'm tired of PvP so I'm redoing all of them! lol This time taking the time to enjoy the missions. I don't recommend running your characters thru unless you have played awhile since the missions and quests are really where and how you get the basics of what you are trying to play.-Pagan
