question about 20% skilll+1 upgrade - Guild Wars Forums

suppose my attribute of axe is 16, when I hit with the 20%, do I have increased attribute of 17 thus increase my damage and chance of critical hit or does it just effect the skill I trigger the 20%?

Yes you can get upto 17.

Both actually.

if the +1 to axe mastery has been triggered (20% chance), any axe skill you have used at that instance, it will have increased that skill dmg. Also, it will affect the base weapon dmg OR chance of critical hit...
