What exactly does it mean?

Ecto = Ectoplasm

it's a rare material dropped only in the UnderWorld... used for crafting the most expensive armor in the game = Fissure Armor

ecto:Outer; external: ectoparasite
ectoplasm:Biology. The outer portion of the continuous phase of cytoplasm of a cell, sometimes distinguishable as a somewhat rigid, gelled layer beneath the cell membrane.

The visible substance believed to emanate from the body of a spiritualistic medium during communication with the dead.

Ahh, so how good is "fissure armor"?
Also what kind of armor mod do they have? (For Warriors)

fissure armor is essentially the same as 15k or forge...just with different "better" looks and more attention to detail...

Simply put, a gold sink for those with too much gold

and than you need like 300 for yuor suit :P and that also, a few 15K each piece.... how will you get the money for gods sake :P

you need 120 for the most expensive full FOW set, being warrior, as it includes a helmet (15/each for boots/gloves/helmet, 30 for leggings and 45 for chestpiece), the other classes "only" need 105

so it's not 300

unless you get the monk astetics or the necro scars pattern, ecto is only 1/4 of the materials you need. then you need to go shard hunting......

Warriors are the only ones that get head pieces.

Ecto requierments for all classes.

Please keep in mind that the half moon looking symbol is actually the old shards symbol.
