Soul Reaping
Some questions on the specifics of this skill...
1) What radius is considered? 2) Do deaths that do not leave corpses count, eg minions, pets? 3) Do people find this at all useful in pvp? |

1) I believe (and I'm sure will be corrected if wrong) your aggro circle
2) yes 3) depends on your build and the type of pvp. Competion/Teams arena, probably not, GvG/Tombs, probably moreso |

1) about twice the radius of your "aggro bubble"
2) minions also trigger soul reaping (pets do leave corpses, and therefor, of course, also trigger soul reaping) 3) i don't think many builds spend attribute points on soul reaping (i for one never use it in a pvp build), usually, there's a better way to spend those precious points ... |

Soul Reaping is invaluable on a busy battlefield. Early on it's hard to appreciate. At later levels, when you can have 9 or more assigned to it, you begin to wonder how you made it so far without it.

I myself, when running full blood necro, have 15 in blood, 13 in soul reap, and 3 in protection prayers (for rebirth). i absolutely LOVE having my soul reap that high. I use wells a lot as a staple of my blood necro build. Well of Blood and Well of Power...when they overlap...10 (possibly 12) pips of health regen and 2 more pips of energy regen. Mmmmmm. Everyone i've partied with in pugs ends up loving My precious wells.
And as far as triggering soul reap, as far as ive noticed, anything within an eye's distance that is killed gets me my +13 energy. This includes party members, pets, ghostly heroes, minions, shadows...etc. A good place to Test out your Soul Reaping Range is D'alessio Seaboard. Just head to the Mission Outpost and see what your max range is for your soul reap to be triggered. (The White Mantle are killing all those undead things outside) Good luck |

Even at lower experience levels it helps a lot. I'm running a N/Me through the game now, and I've been making absolutely sure that my Soul Reaping is AT LEAST 5. Even without minions, that random bump of energy is nice, and it's even better after you frag a target.
