I think your friend got what he deserved. He took the other party members money (and partial payment from the one nonpaying member) and then did not complete the service he had been paid for.
He did not refund their money, it is a clear case of him accepting and keeping funds for a service he then chose not to provide. It is the exact same thing as if 4 of 5 pay for a Droknar run and then you leave with all the money because you were only partially paid by the last. All he had to do was refund everyone else's money that had paid. Interesting side note, your first ban is never 168 hours. Apparently your friend has had several of these "incidents". Get new buddies. |

I can barely understand the first post!
But that your 'friend' should have just finished the mission, then reported the person who wouldn't pay. That would've been a better ending. |

Should ban him for good, running missions just makes it harder to find teams if you wanna actually play the game.
Nothin out of place there anyway, he took the cash, didint hand the goods over. scam. |

Simple, and totally legal way to do this:
Once last guy didn't pay - He refunds the others money and THEN offers them another run and leaves. Just because they were talking trash doesn't have him some new right to take their mnoey and run. |

what he should have done was return the money to everyone there who did pay, then run the crystal into a place thats literally impossible to reach, then offer to re-run those who had initially paid, and simply not include the other guy. OR finish the run and report the guy who didnt pay all. but, he took money form 4/5 people, and didnt finish the run, and to "offend" 4 people is a greater crime than to "offend" 1. the punishment fits the case. if it had been me (and ive been ina similar situation numerous times) i usually just pay for the other guy, and tell him "this ones on me, the next time, you're getting reported." but if i didnt have the money to pay for the other guy, and the runner refused to complete the run OR give me the money back (not everyone likes wasting thier time on being run twice) i would report the runner. plain and simple, while the other guy had a hand in the situation, you're friend was at greater fault. its like with driving, if you rear end someone, your fault, but if you rea-r end the guy because he pulled out onto the street with a stop-sign, its his fault. its also your fault for not stoping in time, but the greater responsibility is thiers. and thats how this works. 4,600 gold vs 400 gold...your friend loses. |
