Is Crippling Shot broken or been changed?
I ask, as it clearly states 'cannot be blocked or evaded' yet I quite often get feedback that the shots been dodged (I use 12 marksmanship btw if that makes a difference).

Don't think it's broken. An arrow is dodged when the target moves and it misses. Evaded is when the arrow hits but the target is in a stance like lightning reflexes which gives 75% chance to evade.

Use Read the Wind or Favourable Winds, and you will drammatically decrease the number of missed arrows. And a 'dodge' is hypothetically a miss by you, for not predicting where the target would be when the arrow lands, not an evade by the target.

Dodging isn't a skill (unless you use dodge,) its simply the player strafing,
Anyone can dodge an arrow at a distance, but closer it's alot harder. Read the wind or favorable winds speeds up arrow speed, thus making it harder for the target to tap left or right to dodge the attack. It's not broken, you just have to use it more carefully, say, when your target is not watching you anticipating your attack. |
