Rune Removal
Just got my new set of droks driuds armour tonite and was messing about and stuff and put a major wilderness survival rune on the chest piece, but i don't want it on now. can i take it off?

The only way to get a rune out of it is to expert salvage the armor. That gives you a chance to get the rune. You can, however, apply another rune on top of that one, replacing it. You won't get the old rune back.

Minor runes are the best way to over-write the mistake. No penalty, just a few hundred gold.

In related news, if you wish to remove a major/superior rune from your armor without destroying your armor, get any minor rune for your primary profession and apply it to the piece of your armor that holds the major/superior rune. This removes the negative health effect without destroying your armor.

Applying a new rune over the old one won't mess up your armor, but salvaging it will destroy it.

Yep, always make sure yo hide your Salvage kit in storage when you plan on rune-ing your armor. I found out the hard way what happens when your 15k armor gets the bad end of a mis-click.
