Default Hi, Ima dummy.

Hiya. Iv'e been playin for about 3 months now. I completed the game in solitude, never had a decent enough group (no guild either) so I am a bit clueless about some things. Now that I don't have anything to do with my henchmen friends anymore, I have some most likely silly questions for yall.
BTW I searched FoW and couldnt find anything.

FoW, where is this area? Im interested in trying out the spider run I read on another thread.

Been to the UW, but is the only thing anyone wants to do there the KEG mission? I found it not very fun and didn't see any more decent equipment drops than I have already found just screwing around by myself.

What do I do now after completing Hells Precipice? I am already bored with killin griffons and trolls. Im not about to try to for fissure armor. (no time for that).

Thanks for the help.

Well, if you've beaten the game, and are tired of farming, there's not alot left but to start a new character or head into PVP.

PVP is quite fun if you get the right people, namely you might want to find yourself a guild and do Tombs or GVG. Also, there are the competitive arenas in droks. PVP is guild wars true shining moment. I'm not a huge fan of PVP myself; but it definitely is a much better aspect after you've did every PVE you think you need, short of the FoW armor like you mentioned.

Take some time, find some new friends, get a guild, learn how to PVP. The game is by no means over for you. Enjoy!

I don't know what you have and haven't done, but there are the Titan Quests after Hell's Precipice. There's also several quests in Sorrow's Furnace. Other than that it's PvP I guess.

You haven't been to UW, you've been to Sorrow's Furnace. You reach both FoW and UW via Temple of Ages, in North Kryta. Your region must have the Favor of the Gods, and you need to pay 1000 gold to enter, each time.

Ahhh. Thats what that message means "favor of the gods... "

Hehe. Thanks for the info guys. I thought UW was underworld, which I assumed I was in when I went down in the furnace. Seems like an expensive trip.

Looks like I'll be guild huntin tonight.

Thanks again =)

You don't neccesarily have to join a Guild to visit Fissure of Woe or the Underworld, visit Temple of Ages when your region has favor, and you will notice several districts full of people forming groups. Usually everyone in the group (of 8) will donate 125 gold each, totalling 1k. This is more than made up for if you get a shard drop in FoW, or an ecto in UW.
  • Most UW groups are made up of rangers carrying Traps and Spirits, quite often taking less than thefull group size of 8 members.
  • Most FoW groups comprise of (more) balanced groups, including tanking warriors, monks, nuking elementalists and a necro providing energy - a 'battery necro'.

EDIT: Guild groups will always be more organised though, and people are likely to feel loyal to the group, so less likely to leave. PUGs (pick up groups - random groups) do fine though, in the easier sections.
