Destiny's Gorge - I Made It Through!!! - Guild Wars Forums

I just want to thank all my friends on this board who gave me advice the last couple of days about how to make the trip from Augury Rock to Destiny's Gorge.

After many failed attempts to run it alone and fight my way way through with henchmen, I finally made it.

I decided early this morning to apply what you taught me about running to what I already knew about fighting. So, I rounded up a group of henchmen and we "ran" and fought our way through.

It was not an easy go. My twenty-first level Elementalist/Mesmer, Sapha Neth, was killed once. And it was touch and go a couple of other times.

My strategy was to begin the final battle by reaching the teleporter on the northeast side of the grassy area. This is mainly guarded by hydras. We pounded our way though the hydras and then took on the several groups of losaru bowmen.

Well, anyway we made it and my brave little band will be heading to Thirsty River to attempt the mission there.

I want to thank everyone who helped me during the last couple of days. I learned a lot from you and appreciate your help.

You can bet that I'll keep you posted on my progress (or lack thereof). I'm sure that I'll need your help again.

21st Level? Have I been away so long that the level caps been increased?

Ash and Arrow, you're right about my character's rank. It is twenty, not twenty-one. What I meant was that the character has levelled up once since reaching Level Twenty.

Sorry for the confusion. I'm new to the game and there's a lot about it I don't understand.
