Anyone else have this bug when changing bows? - Guild Wars Forums

Hi done a forum search and unless i choose my wording wrong, there does not seem to be a topic on it.

So anyway for along time ive had this bug and im wondering if anyone else has the same. See i always carry a long and a short bow in pvp, mainly for the ring of fire map in random and team area's, too shoot across ...well the lava.
But anyway after i swich back to my short bow when our teams engage, whenever i try to use a skill i sit there.....doing nothing, the animation half completes then stops and i do not actully even use the skill, just pause in mid-air, then do it again if i try to re-use the skill or any for that matter.

All as i have to do is move abit, which works MOST of the time, however its alittle bit frustrating and i should not have too

But anyway anyone else have this bug when changing from..say a short to a long bow, then back too their short?

Its a common thing.

It has to do with the range, not the bows themselves.

When you try to use a skill outside of range, it will cancel the skill if it finds out that it cant smoothly enter range.

(That is- if you in the middle of a field, you'l run towards them then shoot. But if your in a bumpy area...like the places with lava and rocks and such, it might just cancel the attack instead of trying to find a path inrange).
