how do i leave a guild?
i'm a brand spanking new player (although i've had the game for more than a couple of hours now...so i'm more of a new player and shouldn't consider myself all that brand spanking) to guild wars and so far i'm really enjoying myself. still exploring the tutorial as a warrior/mesmer.
earlier when i logged on i found that i had gotten an invitation to join a guild. i ask myself "why not" and accept the invitation. after talking a bit to my guildies, someone asks how they leave the guild. somehow he had joined by accident (don't understand that...it's pretty much cut and dry if you want in or out, but whatever) and started getting frustrated at the lack of information on how to quit. i wondered how to leave the guild myself, but then got to thinking that maybe you can't leave. so are my suspicions correct in thinking that once you're in a guild with a character, you're in for good? if they are, then they should have a warning that it's a permanent decision (and if there is...well i'm a hopeless player who dosen't read ) |

Right next to your name in the Guild Window should be a small symbol, click it for options

Ok, just when I thought I had done enough reading to understand it all, I've gone and gotten myself confused.... I haven't bought the game yet, so bear with my ignorance.
So... can you or can you not have ONE character that is both pve and pvp, or are the two playstyles segregated from one another? Theres something very unappealing to me about having to have multiple characters just so satiate both of those play-forms. The reason I ask is because I keep reading people mentioning starting a 'pvp character' vs. a 'pve character'. Sorry if this is a redundant question, but I can't seem to find a straight answer anywhere else on the forum. (if someone has a link, that'd be great too). Thanks fellas. |

1. How does a guild take place in PvP that matters for something? Were?
2.Fur Squares dont exist? 3.Can you get "Runes" at lvl 10? (From norm mobs you kill or quests?) 4.Do you get unlimited skill refund? 24/24 you get refund but it goes down, relog and back to 24/24. 5.Do all characters need to buy a guild cape or does leader buy then all guild members get them? |

this is probably the worst question ever, but
How do you attain a second class? futhermore, if i have my first class as elementalist, and i have second class as warrior, will i be able to equip warrior type armor and weaponns? or should i just re-make the character, as warrior first and elementalist second? (or should i change elementalist for necro?) |

There 2 types of PvP chars: premade and custom. Premade chars have fixed skill set and you cannot change them. Custom char's skills can be changed, but you can only select skills that are unlocked by your RP char. Quote:
2. No idea 3. You get runes by salvaging items and unlock them by using id kit. It is not tied to char level. 4. You accumulate refund points by gaining xp. 5. The guild leader buys one cape and all members automatically wear them. Quote:
You can only equip armors for your primary class. |

Skill points are used for learning/buying individual skills. When you buy a skill, it will cost gold and a skill point. Once you buy a skill, you are able to use it in your skill bar, which can contain 8 skills at any given time. So, for example, if you have no points in the attribute "Wilderness Survival", the skill "Troll Ungent" will heal 3 pips per second. If you start to put attribute points in, it will start to gain pips. (FYI, each pip of de/regeneration for health is 2/hp per second. For energy, each pip is 1/3 energy per second.). |

Party Size
Hi I am very new to Guild Wars, me and a few friends tried getting on and playing together and for some reason we can only get 2 people in a party at a time. Why is that and how do I allow more people in my party? If you can help me out thanks a lot.

I don't have the game, but I'm considering buying it. And I'm just curious about a couple of aesthetic aspects of the game, and I'm sorry if someone answered this already. These aren't going to be the selling points for me or anything, I'm just curious.
How in depth is the character creation? Is it based on sliders, or do you just pick from a selection of heads? I've been playing EQ2 and even though their character creation uses sliders, it's rare to make a character that looks all that different from anyone else (I mean the actual facial structure, not hair colour and style), unless they're of a different race. Is this an issue in Guild Wars? Also, can you customize your body shape? I know this is all going to come across as a little shallow, since I'm only asking about "looks" in the game, but I also wanted to know about the female armor. I'm a girl, and I always play a female character if possible in games. From the screenshots I've seen, all of the female armor seems very skimpy. I'm not concerned with other people wearing it, but are there other types of armor for female characters to wear that actually cover up and looks as though it would actually protect the body (as armor is intended to)? Sorry if this part seems a little long winded. It's just always been one of the things that irks me about the fantasy genre. Having to choose between being forced into skimpy armor or playing a male character. I roleplay from time to time, and just can't rp a male very well. Ok, I'm done rambling now! As far as I know:
Party limit is set to 2 for the noob area Once you leave Ascalon the 'way it is' when you enter the game you don't have that limit (eg when you enter the academy, set out to war) As for skimpy armour, I believe I have seen some female chars with full length dress like things, and the ranger armour is fairly "protective" looking. It may be answered all over the place, but
My wife and I can't find it -- what is necessary for creating a guild cape? We've got the guild name, but when we check with the registrar we see that the cost appears to be 0 gold and 2 of some kind of ingots, which pretty much tells us nothing.
What's the answer? |

Heh, those two ingots? They are really platinum bars and are equal to 1000 gp each. Hope that helps

Guild Cape
Well, I am not head of any guild, but my guild leader said that you can get a cape if you raise 2000 gold. That should not be hard to do if you have a few members. All of us in our guild pitched in a raised the mula.
Best of luck to ya, Le |

I am thinking of switching from SWG to this game. After CU swg is falling apart and players are leaving on daily bases. Is t his game any similar in structure and gameplay to SWG ?
