Expert vs Normal
Does expert salvage kits give you more crafting material as opposed to normal ones?
i.e. the benefit of use expert kit is u get more materials + the chance to get mods and/or rare crafting material. |

Expert doesn't give you more materials, it just gives you a chance to salvage rare crafting materials, like Steel Ingots, as opposed to common crafting materials, like Iron Ingots. In addition, Experts are used to get runes out of armors and mods out of weapons; Regulars won't salvage the runes or mods.

Thats pretty much right on the button. Personally I'd take a set of both, normal for the mundane items, expert for the rares. Don't bother with superior though - rip off if you work out the maths. |

Buying multiple expert salvage kits will net you more salvages (for less money) than the superior ... the only advantage in the superior kit is less trips to the merchant to buy another, and/or less space in your inventory if you buy them all at once. Happy salvaging! |
