Elemental Damage Mods
Putting an elemental hilt on a weapon changes the damage type to the desired elemental group. Does this mean it ignores the physical resistances on warrior mobs completely and only relies on the targets elemental resistance to consider damage? If so, which elemental type are the majority of the enemies in the end game weak to? I realize that there is a large portion of the game that is snowy and this leads to many ice themed enemies. Does this imply that enemies in a snowy area are weak to fire damage moreso than other locations?
Also, is there an "elemental loop" so to speak concerning resistances and weaknesses? Fire Beats Ice etc etc. And if so, what is this loop? I for one am not sure what earth based creatures are weak to. Many questions and hopefully some answers. Sushi out |

i think cold beats fire...taht's why you take the winter spirit in hell's precipe...
then go cap greater conflagration, and all dmg becomes cold dmg then take mantra of frost , and voila: good dmg reduction i also think those fire creatures there are weak to cold dmg. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ this is an example on how elemental dmg matters... but i have no idea about air/earth |

I have been thinking the same thing. How you can know what enemies are weak er against fire, ice, earth and lighting?
Well, fire monsters probably are weaker against ice and vice versa and enemies which use ranger skills, are stronger against elemental damage but what about other enemies? |
