runescape made me laugh, the game had no design at all in term of gameplay and art. dofus, a flash base mmorpg is much better than it.
now guildwars, u dun need to waste ur time leveling so hard to become high level, there is no farm spot camping by arrogant ppl, u can actually questing to level, not by repetitive killing the monster, and i think guildwars have the best pvp when compare with any mmorpg out there. |

runescape
Lol what do you people know about runescape ? just because you don't like it the game sucks ? that is just nonsens .
I played runescape for 4 years , and I liked it a lot i played nearly everyday and used to be number 5 prayer number 5 miner and number 10 ranger Skill total 1670 75 mil overall xp I quitted it because i got bored after 4 years playing that game for 6-16 hours a day . I also played WOW but dam man if you want to say a game sucks than say it about WOW a totally rip of 15 euros a month and updates ? once in the 1-2 months and not even big updates and then asking 15 euros a month ? And when there is finally a big update coming up yes guess what you need to buy it ? why need to buy I played 15 euros a month for it . Look at guild wars it is totally free only need to buy the game and what do you get for it lots and lots of fun so if I where you , I should run to the nearest game shop and buy this amazing game . And why choose between 2 games ? you can always play them both I sometimes play runescape again not long and not much but still . I play 6 games atm 4 online Quake 4 The Movies Guild Wars Project Entropia I got lots of time but still you can also play both games and guild wars vs runescape ? Just 2 totally divergent games and both very very good |

i was an avid rs player until one of my rs friends told me about gw.
It is overall worth it. I mean of course you will still check rs site to see if pohs and carpentry are out, but you will like gw a lot more. So much more options and abilities. PRO: No more rs dreams Better gameplay no more gay dance emotes (minus ele and mes (male)) Cooler weapons No monthly fees for a whip(aka sausages on a string) better looking armour dont have to play years and give up your live to be good (zezima) many more... CONS No more rs dreams of partyhats no more pretty rune armour no more firemaking skills i say you do it, i made the switch and i was happy |

I have a mac so I havn't played GW yet, but I have an account on runescape and I actually I think it's quite good. It's a shame that I'm crap at gaining XP on any RPG, I played runescape for about 3 months and I'm only a level 4...lol

I used to be a mad player on RuneScape, was combat level 112, name was 'Liquid Morph'. All I did was PK and got rich on it. Got around 16 Abyssal Whip PKs.
But Guild War is a LOT better. Quit RS for GW. |

Hi, my name is Jon and i'm a recovering Runescape addict ...
"Hi, Jon!" I'd just like to thank Guild Wars for showing me the error of my ways, and for helping me during my time of need. I can now venture out of the house, and I am no longer afraid of the bright, bright sunlight outside. Thank you, Guild wars. |

NO MONTHLY FEE! Hands down GW's beats every mmorpg because of this feature alone.

I played RS a long time ago quit about a year ago (i've started in the old RS1 days) quit couple of times in between. im lvl 95 with 3 mil left (had a white phat way back when, dam i logged couple of month ago and dam the inflation is so ----ing bad. phats are worth like 60 mil last time i checked) IGN allbot. you'll probably never see me on becuase i've left it behind and so should u.
RS is so bad now with SO many ppl playing, there are so many scammers in that game it isnt funny, and god the high lvl ppl cant stop saying noob! and the game is so slow, when i play it i need to open up another explorer cause its so boring. and aftering playing for a long time it get sooooo boring. Its like a chore playing it. get guild wars, nicer ppl, awesome graphic, easy combat system (dont get me started on RS combat, if u guys know RS1 combat its even worse!!!) so ditch RS i mean playing guild wars is even cheaper with no monthly fee, how can u resist!!! |

Well I guess I never finished
I bought GW a week ago and I already have Icy and Fire Dragon Sword, Eternal Shield, Platemail (15k) Armor, and a whole lot of skills (in my opinion). It was damn well worth the switch. EDIT: My avatar shows some of it. And the armor color is all black. |

I used to be a member on Runescape. the constant mine then smith that.. cut the tree to raise a stupid skill to make you make arrows... it jsut got boring... i ended up only using my membership (until it ran out) talking on the forums..
RS has way too many faults. It was constantly imbalanced and was just ugly. "Come along kiddies and pay to click on a mouse in our "wonderful" graphical world wher we make you spend your entire life raising your skills so we can get more money out of you!" |
