im not finish with this but you lose -30 attribute points by doing this?
if this is the case what benefit do you gain from actually doing it other than changing your secondary proffession? I know you can gain the 30 back but i would much rather just stack the 30 points on to what i have. is that something that can be done? or do i have to do this before i can get access to the extra 30 attribute points? |

I've ascended and I didn't see any loss of attribute points. I'm guessing what he may be refering to is the 30 attribute points (total) you can get from 2 separate quests. 1 can be done pre-acension for 15 attribute points and 1 can be done post-acension for 15 attribute points. If there's more I don't know about it yet, I haven't gotten past the first mission in southern Shiverpeaks.

No you dont lose 30 points, you are level 20 but still have 30 more points to gain by doing the attribute point missions.

I believe what the poster was referring to is that you are lvl 20 but short 30 attribute points which can be gained via quests. 2 quests, each one worth 15 points. You do not LOSE any points after ascending

I'm just starting off the Ascension missions now, what attribute quests are there that give you the 15 attribute points? Where are they? Thanks.

You can find one quest "Forgotten Wisdom" south of the big rock that is Augury Rock. You can pick up the other one in Droknars Forge, talk to Sanyi.
Ascension also gives you access to Underworld (UW) and Fissure of Woe (FoW) from Temple of Ages (ToA), when you have favor. |

Going back to some points made earlier in this thread regarding how he is level 20 and hasn't reached ascension.... I've been doing the quests as well as all the missions as they come up. I don't farm... to be honest, I don't see the point. So far, I've found all the things I need and haven't had too many problems with having enough money for the things I need (i.e. armor). I've never been run anywhere. Basically, I've been playing through the game like a textbook.
Right now, I am in the Wilds/Quarrel Falls area and am level 18 about 60% to 19. Another player I know is level 19 and in the same area. I don't know how much further away Ascension is, but I can see how he'd be 20 and nowhere near it. |
