magazine question
"computer gaming world"
i was wondering if anyone in southern cali knows where to find this magazine at. yes, im talkin bout the one with the guildwars chapter 2 article in it. over the past weekend, i spent 2 hours driving all around town to various places such as : walmart gamestop barnes and noble (bookstore) some random drug store k-mart a few other smaller places. and i couldnt find it anywhere. i actually got pissed off and decided to quit looking. their website computergamingworld.com and the 1up.com really doesnt give me any hints on what stores carry this magazine. so, im turning to you good people, to tell me where in southern california (san deigo area) what stores or store may carry this magazine. thx in advance. |

It's not exactly 'out' yet .
It's only in the subscribers hands right now. Wait a couple of days and it'll come out. |

That's some bad luck All the stores that you have mentioned are the best you are gonna get. A barnes and noble without magazines is a bit weird. I'm curious. Where do you live? |

Try your local Library. They tend to take out subscriptions on magazines. The article is in the Feb edition of the magazine, so stores won't have it for sale until next month.
If your local library is small, they might not get this mag....so you might want/need to try a large city's library. You can't take the magazine home with you, but you can at least read it |

So having one magazine's subscription doesn't exactly pay...especially for just one issue pertaining to GW. |

^True....but then, I have mine so neener-neener.....
Actually, I subscribe to a few (all PC Game related) and I pick up a free Computer Source every month...why? Because I like to keep up on the industry in general....for me, It is worth the price savings to subscribe...I get a year's worth for what folks pay for a couple off the rack...In answer to your query, yes...I am aware...and it's not just for info on GW...though, it worked out great for me this time. I like not having to wait for info. I reccomend subscribing to anyone...especially if you're a teacher and the kids are selling mags to support the school...oh, wait...that's me. :P |
