Question about necro and dathbane
I tried to search for this and didn't find anything. I was just wandering the deathbane upgrade on weapons does +X% vs undead. Holy spells also do extra dmg to things considered undead. There are a couple sets of necro armor that do Reduced AL vs Holy. So then would a necro be considered "undead" since holy does the extra dmg? If so then if you take a deathbane weapon into pvp (not sure why you would want to but....) would you get the bonus dmg vs undead when you attack the necro?

Unless the armor says that you become undead type, otherwise you are not.
The armor taking more damage from holy if anything, works differently than holy vs undead. Similar things are applied to elemental damage, where holy spells from smiting are all armor ignoring (except judge's insight); holy element itself do not have armor ignoring. So it is most likely that the armor are especially made to take more damage from holy, however it does not change you into undead. Deathbane mod however, would most likely to effect minions. |
