It depends, if it's a sword, axe or bow then good idea, but there isn't much point in customising a staff or wand, unless you do very little damage with spells... And need to wand alot...

Only Wand I've customized is my UW tank wand to kill the nightmares in two shots instead of three before they get Rend off.

If i get a sword customized, i'll get the +20% dmg bonus.
But, will i be able to add/change a mod later on? |

the only thing i dont like about customizing is when u like an item but you dont no if you want to sell it or not. ive got a real good sword which i use sometimes but i still lean more towards axes. idk if i want to customize it b/c if i decide that swords sux, and it is customized, i wont be able to sell it for a bunch of money (around 30k)...
*sigh* although uncustomization is inprobable in the real world it sure would help in GW |

This is why I stuck to collector weapons. Grab a 15>50, put 30hp and vamp in it.... customize it. Outdamage all "high-end" players that are obsessed with their perfect 15>50 crystalline swords and wont customize it because then they cant resell em for a mil.
