Unidentified CRAP !
Is it just me or is anyone else tired of trying to read past all the unided crap in the trade channel these days?
Yes, I know you can unlock items for pvp with unided items but seriously. I can understand paying up to 10k on an unided weapon in hopes of finding a perfect mod for pvp, or even paying for an unided armor hoping to unlock a nice rune. But come on, does anybody actually pay in excess of 100k for unided rare weapons. If you have an unided fellblade or brute sword then 90% of the time they are crap after you ID it. Not to mention the fact that you can use it in the field for a while and figure out if it is good or not before you ID it anyway. As for unlocking pvp items, people will pay around 10k for a small chance of unlocking good items but I don't think I know anybody that pays 100k+ for a SMALL chance of unlocking good items. Chances are if someone is selling an unided crystaline, fellblade, etc they have used it a few times and have a good idea that the item is crap so they sell unided instead of identifying it. |

I can understand the above mentioned stuff selling unided, but what I hate is the farmers that sell shields unided. One cannot gain anything from id'ing them like runes, etc. Anet shouldn't even make the shields unided, seeing as you can't add any mods to them anyway, so my make them unidentified in the first place?

Selling crystalines unided is really good ESP if you don't want to take chances. (EX: it's a 20% hexed or 15% against hexed...)

Yes selling crystalines or anything for that fact is good for the seller, but there are alot of crystalines, fellblades, chaos axes, storm bows, eternal bows, etc, that people are trying to sell for at least over 30k. To which those items are almost never good for the buyer, and people know this. So it would be nice if people would QUIT SPAMMING THE TRADE CHANNEL WITH THEM. I mean think about it. It is very very simple to take a gold unided crystaline out into the field and test the damage compared to say a max 15%^50% gladius to see how they compare. So I will never buy unided weapons for over 10k because chances are somebody has tested it, concluded it is crap and are now selling it for 30k+ unided. Do you think they would sell a unided fellblade for 30k if they knew it was doing around the same damage as a 15%^50% gladius. I sure don't. :-/

The reason why people still do this, is because they are getting buyers!!!! If people would stop buying the unid'd crap the trade channel would not have so much of it in there.
I started a thread a while back regarding unid'd known mods, for example I knew that an axe had a +30 grip on it, I was trying to get some feedback on wether or not it was more valuable unid'd (assuming of course that I was a trustworthy individual) and the overall response was "we dont trust you so NO not more valuabe" I just hope that people realize that buying unid'd stuff isnt a good idea. |

The truth is a massive proportion of weapons in this game are worthless. So people who farm, who have had the most experience of 'req7 swords' turning into 'req7 iron bars', have had there fingers burned and now only sell weapons as they find them.
