i was wondering i am going to creat my first charicter soon (well when my colectors edition arives) i have been reading up on the profesions i can be and was most atracted to the necromancer charicter. i was wondering what is the best way from the very start plz do not include spoilers if there are any in the game, ho do i make a really strong necromancer right from the beging eg skills items and what should my second profesion be as i want my necromancer to be stong. thanxs for any help information or links posted here that help me

My Necromancer was my 2nd character. He is a necromancer/mesmer and I think that is the best combination for dmg. Some people like necromancer/monk more but well, if you want a strong charac I really reccommend N/Me.
I would be a blood necromancer when you start with insperation magic skills. When you finished the game (missions, quests etc.), I would be a curse necro. My necro is curses now, it's strong both in pvp and pve.

Necromancer is a nice and strong charac, only down side is that people not always realize how strong a necro can be and then not invite you in mission partys. Stupid stupid...

I have a N/me too. But unlike the traditional Minion Master or echo Spiteful spirit build I have a somewhat uncommon build. This build is great for PvE because healer monbs can't keep up with the conditions. There are of course some very big 'situation' flaws. Like this build wouldn't work againt undead or spirit type mobs. That's why I add things like Faintheartedness, Suffering and parasidic bond and of course consume corpse for self heals. enjoy!

I can see the point of your build Hunter, it looks strong to me. But I would make my first charcter N/Me. You'll have to admit that N/Me do more dmg. I know a echo SS necro is very common but it's just so damn strong...
