2. Why is sundering string worth so much?

1. No, thankfully
2. a 10/10 sundering string is a favourite for many, the more demand or rarer an item is generally the more people will pay for it (i'm sure many others will be able to explain why people like it so much)

10% armor penetration is deadly, and 10% is the max for it therefore its worth alot.

2. People are just barely smart enough to recognize armor penetration as good, and much too stupid to recognize ~0.4DPS as bad.

Sundering is purely hype. It averages out to .3 extra damage per hit which is so bad it's not even funny.
