What do we do when the healer is dead?
A friend and I have been playing for the past couple weeks, and on a couple occasions we've had to deal with one of us dying and the other still playing. What are we supposed to do at this point? Do we have to start the mish over again, or is there a way to come back to life and continue?
I'm sure this is a newbie question, but I haven't been able to even find a reference to this situation. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. Andy. |

Bring a res sig for that case.
Also, the healer really shouldn't be near danger at all. Ideally the healer is behind all of the other people.

lol there's nothing more irritating for me than a party in a mission who doesn't bring a res sig each. In regular quests, fair enough, just let everyone die and all respawn (or attempt to fight on til you die anyway) but in a mission, having a res or not having a res will decide whether you complete it or "return to outpost".

Agreed, always carry a Res sig(Restore Life/Rebirth if Monk), and don't assume "the other guy" is carrying one.

Last slot (slot8) should be rebirth/resurrect/res sig at all times (IMO)

I always bring my res sig, but I wait for other people to use theirs first. If they don't have it I'll use mine. Then afterwards scold them for not bringing one . |

I always use my sig first, so people can't blame me for not rezzing. So Nin00 we would make a good rez team .

Actually people who have permanment rez should be the one rezzing first. Rez signets are to be used only if all players with rez spells are dead. On those folks too. Don't waste your one-time rez signet if someone else have a rez spell.

That's all very true Barinthus, but I was talking 'bout PvP. If you don't use any skills of your 2nd proffesion in your build you should always be a monk for PvE, cause monk has some good rezzing skills (don't worry if you haven't got a monk as secondairy, you can change it in the Crystal desert)

Ture.
But in unless it's in GvG. My guild only takes Rez Sigs for rezing XD, and the monks don't even bring it O.O. |

Some missions have cutscenes where every dead party member will be auto-rezzed.

As I only party up with guildies anymore, unless I'm the monk, I don't bring a rez of any sort. PUG's just aren't worth the bother anymore.

Hmm, what to do if your monk dies...
1) stop fighting 2) pan camera down to fallen monk 3) cry 4) rez, if possible -- in these situations, martyrdom as a result of using a rez spell while being pounded by ettinses is a noble and honorable gesture. 5) if you dont have rez, 2 options: a] die b] run (the rest, you'll have to figure out on your own) Good luck, and Godspeed! |

And of course, the most important (according to a lot of people)
You flame and call the monk names for being stupid enough to die in the first place. They did it, you know, just to ensure that you fail. It's an evil monk plot **Disclaimer** That is meant to be funny, folks, not saying that's what you should REALLY do..love the monks, yup. But unfortunately, it does happen. The poor monk gets blamed for having the audacity to die..how dare he!! |
