Pretty easy actually. You can go to post searing very quickly without taking much xp. Get run to Beacons - Droks - THK.
Stay back at the beginning of the mission. If you are non participatory and outside the agro you won't gain any xp. Cutscene comes, run far away out of danger, same thing. Get XP from mission. You are now in Emberlight as a level 1. Final Blow to RoF. Can still be done. Sad? a guildie did it because they were bored and wanted to have a little fun. |

When some people have gone through the game numerous times and want to try something different, they come up with all sorts of things to do. Is it really "fun" to have a level 20 in presearing?
It is just for a sense of personal accomplishment. The real hard part was finding a group that would go with us on THK knowing that we were going to be 1 person short from the beginning. |

Message from Friend: 100exp
War preparations: 250 exp A [class]'s test: 500 exp Run to THK: 0 exp THK: 1000exp =1,850 exp, level 2=2,000exp It WOULD be doable without a secondary. But not now. The secondary quests give 250exp- putting you at 2,100exp. That player has been there awhile. Last edited by Former Ruling; Feb 10, 2006 at 01:51 PM // 13:51.. |

I was actually level 1 when I got a run to Citadel. I had roughly 1 level and 72%...it is possible to do it. i spent a total of 6 minutes im presear before going. if you had a primary other than a monk, you would get even less exp...considering the monk quest is the only quest that will not give you exp. I do believe this to be true, but it must have cost him a fortune! (or some nice guildmates

I once saw a level 1 w/mo in ring of fire dancing. It is possible to get there, but whats the point aside from showing off? Makes me laugh that people pay others in order to beat the game. Pure amusement

These people got there before the presearing quest line got changed.
Had to have. it is IMPOSSIBLE to get there without some sort of glitch or soemthing now. I listed the exp you need to get there. You need 2.1k, and its only 2k til lvl2. Unless the gltich of skipping the mission exp in THK is true. |

Lvl 1
I personaly took a lvl 1 to lions arch, to hang out in the HOH arena, and also have him down to Draknors.... am working on getting him to ring of fire, there is going to be no way to avoid the 1k xp from quest though.... My guild tried this with another charicter and you will get the 1k from quest for THK even if he dies at start.
He is lvl 1 and 55%, mes/nec... i started with mes, got a few skills outside in presearing... then had someone run me down to do necro quest real fast... that is all i did on this charicter... he has no res signet or anything.... |

I never get 'run' places because I aim to get all the missions and skills reward quests. I only have other PVE characters for unlocking skills. And if I don't get that 1 skill point and free 2 skills from quests, then the character is useless to me. No need to run, because I'm already going all the way across the freakin map anyway, even though it's a pain.

You also don't have to do Message from a Friend in presear. I recently made a character on my second account to act as guild storage and was in presear all of 5 mins before going to post. You don't even need a secondary profession. |

But I have 2 accounts and 2 computers, why should I get banned for running my other characters on the other account around. Your statement does not make sense. |

I wouldnt be so against running if it was rare but it isnt EVERYBODY GETS RAN EVERYWERE... its impossible to get past beacons without hencies, imposible to get past Augury without hencies now... its impossible to do any quests in lions arch without hencies... You now have to spend a good 50k i bet to get anywere... oh and not the mention that you have a better chance of winning the lottery then getting groups in the magumas. Hell if i ever get a group to fight to one of the acension missions i'm going out to buy a lottery ticket cause i know i'm gonna win... my gods i cant even play normaly now... i have to get ran to be anywere... when my main char Rilder the Hunter came through the Game. He had no problem getting groups. there was like 20 groups in a district needing people for there group in every single mission area.. and outpost! now thers 20 non running groups i bet in the entire game! Its like 50 runners, 30 runnies. and 5 people wanting to play the right way and get some exp by fighting... but now its " oh who cares i'l just buy exp" Runners are ruining the game for me... Running should be like if your absoulutly stuck at a mision place you should be able to fight to the next one if you absoulutly have to, Not as it is now were you can skip from beginning game to end game without even having a weapon. its getting to the point were runners are gonna end up running each other. Sorry but that's just not true. Sure there are people that are getting run, but how can you claim to know all their histories and why they are getting run?
I can always find people to do missions in the LA area. It is probably less likely to find people doing quests and such in the Augury area, that's true. It is much easier to just get run to each town and then battle through the quests and missions. I just don't want to get lost in the desert area. There aren't quests that really guide you as well as in earlier parts of the game. I don't know what you are doing wrong, but I never have problems getting groups for Maguuma and Ascension missions. Getting the exact party makeup may be a different story, but usually just filling one or two slots with henchies if necessary. I fought through the full grind on my first character all the way. Then after that, I only get run two places, Beacon's to Droks and the Desert Tour. Then I go back and fight all the other missions and do all the quests. I make those runs for convenience of not having to wait to get upgraded armor and ease of fighting through the desert. |
