How do i get to the underworld from the Temple of Ages? DO i need to do a quest or sumthin?

You must be ascended. Do /kneel in fron of the statue of Grenth and pay the 1K to enter. All in your party must be ascended (hench can't go). Also, your region MUST have favor for you to enter. The statues will look different when you do.

how do you get ascended? BTW ppl say that that is the best place to farm. What weapons can you get there?

Spending a few minutes reading the GW website and these forums and using the "search" feature will help you out a lot.

Not that I mind answering noob questions THAT much, though:

You get Ascended in the Crystal Desert by doing the 4 desert missions there and beating your doppleganger in Augury Rock. If you don't know where the desert is, you need to play more. Just do the missions in each town and before you know it you will be there.

UW is a fun place to play, and some nice items can drop there.

its actually 3 missions in the desert. Like SirAubrey was saying just follow the storyline. It will take you to desert. Do the 3 missions in the desert, then beat your Doppleganger (mirrored image of yourself). There is some good info/tips on beating your Doppleganger that might come in handy on this website. Just use search to get that info. Once you are ascended you will be able to map to Temple of Ages and go into Underworld of Fissure of Woe.
Requirements for entering either are as follows;
1) Must be Level 20
2) Must be Ascended
3) Your region must have favor ( you will know if your region has favor or not when you map into ToA. The first thing in broadcast channel will say who has favor. Also the statues will be 'glowing'
As far as weapons, The Chaos Axe and eternal sheilds drop in FoW. The all famous Globs of Ectoplasm or ecto for short drop in UW. Storm Bows also drop in UW.

You do not have to be level 20. I've taken level 15 characters in before. Great way to gain levels quickly.

Eternals drop in UW, Shadows drop in FoW.
