I'd like to sell something using this site's auction feature. I did a screen capture that showed the item's description and now how to copy just the description using Irfanview. But now what? I tried copying the desc. to a new file in Microsoft Paint but I keep ending up with a big picture with a large white background.

How do I make a small pic of just the description so I can upload it to the auction area? Thank you!

Paste the selected description back into the irfan view application, and it will only show the selection, then save it as a compressed image file.

Select the required area on the pic, then use edit > crop selection and save the cropped image as a mediocre image quality jpg to save bandwidth with the Save As -command (the image quality slider will appear while saving). All this and more on irfanview.
