double-elite-skill farming
so lets there are two elite skills that could work perfectly if you could use them both in your skill slot. I was wondering if anyone has gone into an area with 1 cap sig, 1 elite skill, and 6 other skills, and killed a boss, capped that skill, and found it easier and more profitable to farm the area?
please respond, and if you dont know what im saying, ill edit and re phrase I was thinking maybe a warrior in the southern shiverpeaks could do it, if he or she finds a good pair of elites Last edited by Holy Arch; Feb 13, 2006 at 03:58 AM // 03:58.. |

I suppose it could be more effective, but you'd have to keep in mind it would be a one-time thing only, once you enter a town, that's impossible. So I guess it could be interesting having multiple elites at once. This reminds me of a screenie I took after a capture expedition in Perdition Rock with my Ranger(notice my skill bar):

Never did it to farm an area, and it only works until you enter a town or next zone, but you can have more than one elite if you cap. I've done missions with people who take two cap sigs along with an elite already in skill bar.

I suppose that could work well. I mean its 1k for UW entrance fee and I make money there even when I dont get ecto. 1k per run for an extra elite could be worth it.

This is only worth considering if you can recapture the same Elite a second time. Can you?

Thanks Kassad. Then seeing as farming means repeatedly entering the same area with the same set of skills, this isn't an option.

I've seen a real good elite bar before. It was a Mesmer/Monk I think.
Brought An Elite, all the skills that can copy elites, and Sig of Caps. Got the 4 Elites that he is afforded in that area, and then copied elites. |

1 Elite (not Echo)
Arcane Mimicry Arcane Echo 5 cap sigs Is there any way to get an all-elite skill bar with fewer than 5 cap sigs? (I'm sure an Ele/Me can cap at least 6 Elites on Perdition Rock, and I think the total is even more, so that's not a limitation.) |

It can help for things other than farming. I couldn't get a decent PUG for Hell's Precipice and no end-game guildies were on so I just did it with henchies. I ran mending + watchful spirit on myself for +5 regen, had cleave and another adrenaline attack and 2 caps (evis. and 100 blades).
With cleave, eviscerate and the other attack I was dishing out a ton of damage and beat the mission. Of course Rebirth also played a large role. Last edited by DeanBB; Feb 13, 2006 at 05:26 PM // 17:26.. |

I had (perhaps still have) a glitch on my comp that allows me to use two of the same skill, but not different elites. I have a screenshot or three with my warrior with two Final Thrusts and two Healing Hands.
But I can't do it with two different elites, sadly. |
