I normally go to my local blacksmith and ask for him to make me a sword... but then not everyone gets a Hanzo Hattori special everyday. :P

Nah on a serious note the best sword mod IMHO is a Zealous / Fortitude if your a warrior or Fortitude/Defense if your any other profession. Sword skills require energy if you so choose to use those skills. Vampiric is always on my switch weapon when I am not being targeted by necros or mesmers.

Victo's Blade is outstanding, of course many don't appreciate the lifestealing mod and prefer to go for sun-de-rrrrring, one of the worst and most popular mods. So generally either Zealous or Vampiric hilt/haft, a +5 armour or +30 health pommel/grip. Then the decision to go for 15% > 50, 15% in a stance or enchanted. I'd say that in PVE stance is always the safest bet.

most wars use defy pain, and the other elite 1 (cant think of it atm) so u aint gonna die with these skills in affect all u have 2 do is cast ure mending and u will b fine so i dont think the +30 mod is the needed mod for warrior since i aint seen much warrs (l8ly) that can battle and stay and say 25hp, seen lots use the defy skills and stay at 1hp for ages till the monk regens that 5mana and heals him caus he rushed >.<

1. Attempt to speak with more actual English words and less shorthand. That's a forum rule.

2. Mending is worthless in battle.

3. Defy Pain is worthless compared to other Warrior Elites. Endure is the non-Elite that has its place.

4. It's not like Warriors need more armor as is.

Vampiric isn't about health gained, it's about damage dealt. Zealous is all about energy gain though.
