Damage Type
I would like to know (if possible) which is the most common damage type in the game.
I wanna know coz it will influence the type of armour I buy for my elementalist. (I wanna get Aero for the looks). And as they dont stack I dont really want to be carrying 4 sets of armour. On a side note: If I had say pyro armour on would that mean I had 120 armour against fire (60 max armour + 4 x 15 Al clothing items)? |

no, you'd have 75 al vs the element.
The most common style of elemental damage would be fire or air. |

Incase u didn't know, here's ow the armour works:
Enemies have a certain % chance to hit a certain part of ur body, i.e: Head, Body. Arms, etc. and when that enemy hits a certain part of ur body, the armour equiped to that part of tthe body will count for your total armour for that attack. (Shields and weapon's armour bonuses are also added), so therefore, yes, you will only have a max of 75 armour (more or less with weps or off-hand) per hit. I'm pretty sure that there's a guide on how armour works somewhere... And to answer ur question, the most common type of elemental dmg is Fire dmg. Go e/r and bring greater confligration.
Then all damage is fire damage... and you can base that likewise. |

Greater Conflagration
Create a level 1...8 Spirit. For creatures within its range, all physical damage is fire damage instead. This Spirit dies after 30...126 seconds. This is an elite skill. Only physical damage is applicable, so it isn't really all that useful. |
