Where's the best place to find scale? I trying to craft a drakemale set but Scale is what I can't find.

I'm in Yak's Bend right now. Lvl 11 Ranger

kryta area, area between Lion's Arch and Ascalon Settlement......find all the bog scales

Here's a complete page on scales and what monsters will drop them if you are so inclined.

You can also go to the Material Trader and purchase them in batches of 10, or go to Ascalon dist 1 or 2 and spam WTB scales and buy from another player.

before I posted the question.. I 'attempted' to search the Wiki..but apparently I didn't click on the right section or something..cause when i first searched I didn't find that info..
Now, thanks to your link.. I DID! that was very helpful.

FYI..
I'm not yet to Kryta -- at Yak's Bend.. if I recall their were lots of Gargoyles in Deisa's Lowland near Nolani Academy..so I'll jump back there and farm some.

yes, during the great gargoyle farming surge of winter '05, many a scale dropped for me as i hunted their skulls

Dessicated Hydra Claws (from the crystal desert) salvage into 5 scales each.

Not that you're there yet, but it'll be helpful one day.

Guildwiki is very hard to search directly.

Just google on your search term plus the word guildwiki, and ignore the results for the "zerolives" site

Hahaha.. funny I farmed like 25 Gargoyles last night and I could get was gold and SKULLS

I'm selling crafting materials all the time. And cheaper then the town merchants off course.
