Question about inter-server items. - Guild Wars Forums

I'm sure this is just based on game client language, but does an item found on, say, a European server, with a German name, tranbslate to English when brought to the US servers?

For example:

http://www.guildwarsguru.com/auction/item.php/id=27662

If I buy that, it'll say "Crystalline Sword" instead of that other language, won't it?

Yes; the item description is automatically translated into whatever language you currently have set, even if the other person has another language set.
