Do you play with minimum graphics ?
I just wanted to know how many people like me there were and played this game for 10 months with the graphics on the lowest settings thinking it would run faster. Makes sence right, but i have been playing with crap graphics and i own a geforce fx 5900 ultra. I almost fell off my chair when i just cranked up my graphics to max - I can see reflections in the gems on my ranger fissure armor. I cant belive i have been playing the game for so long thinking low settings are better for gameplay, but is seems to run the same with the graphics on low or high. Have you seen the shadows on max -omg-
What settings do you guys run with ? |

I play on max with no water reflections and bloom. I used bloom before but unfortunately it got too choppy for me. Game still looks and runs great without it though.

As far as non-connection lag goes, it's more about your comps memory than the card. I can't run too much else with my 512MB Memory, but after I upgraded from the crap card I didn't notice any difference in game performance, it's just the looks. I'm still a little superstitious about the quality settings creating lag so I usually go in and click Auto-Detect on visual settings right before I start PvPing. It moves it down to Medium High so it's not that different anyway, but then I'll put it back up to full when I'm PvEing or standing around looking at stuff in towns. On this comp, lowest graphics PvP, medium PvE.
On my dad's comp, highest graphics both PvP and Pve, while running MSN, GWFreaks, browsing forums, iTunes, sometimes photoshop. I want my dad's comp. |

I play with max everything except shadows, just b/c i dont feel like putting comp power into something thats just gonna annoy me. I usually have MSN Messenger & sometimes Limewire in the background. For a game like GW, I think it useses suprisingly little resources

I run on Lowest settings. I did that because of my old Graphics card, and when I had only 128RAM.
I dont know iF I could pump it up now :\ My 15k Druids looks like Feces smeared all over a Coat. But I hear that it is awesome looking at different settings. |

I play maxed on everything, plus the bloom effect. Plus, like many others, I have my guild forum, GWG, GuildWiki, Google Talk, Photoshop, and maybe a couple other things running all at the same time. 2GB Ram FTW!

I have the graphics all maxed out and the only time the game lags for me is when I have like 10-15 enemies in my aggro circle and they're all casting spells at the same time. Even then, the lag isn't too bad; I can still play thru it.

I own a Radeon 9550, with a 1.9 Ghz P4 and 768 MB Ram (yes, 512+256). I think I run the lowest settings, but I'm not sure. Anyone got experience with this card and knows if it can handle more than I'm doing now?

i used to run it on a GeForce 440 mx (64mb) on max - anti aliasing, so with you 5900 you should be able to run it on max with no problem; now I upgraded to a 6600 and have it max with max AA and AF... well max everything lol

I run it on NVidia 6800 GT. I run it at max, but I know some people run it so low that boss auras look weird. I think they fixed it so that it can be seen by those people to though.
