Wednesday night roll back?
Apologies if this has been covered before, but did anyone else have their account rolled back for a short period of time on Wednesday night (not Monday) about 11pm GMT. Hanging around in Drok's, I had 50 ecto's and 1 sapphire in my storage and someone was selling a +15% enchanted req 10 chaos for 15k. I had no cash so i traded 1 ecto and the sapphire to the trader (about 12.5k altogether i think) and offered this for the chaos, which he accepted. Feeling pleased with myself i logged off, went to bed, didn't go on yesterday and logged on this morning. I had no chaos axe and was back to 50 ecto's and 1 sapphire(!)
Now i'm not too bothered as i didn't lose anything (except a bargain) but i'm a bit concerned that it could be worse another time. Again, this may be old news and may have happened to everyone, but if not just wondering if anything else like this happened to anyone else? Cheers |

Yeah, read the updates. A huge blunder by Anet reset the traders, and since so many people took advantage of this, they did a big rollback to all accounts just before the reset.

Yes the servers were down. Just about all night for that fact. They did a roll back for the ENTIRE GW COMMUNITY. Not just people that were playing. People that weren't on wouldn't notice it obviously. If this has happened to just you in the past then yeah it was probably just lag. As for the rollback it only affected any in game transactions which accured sometime around noon PST I think, and it rolled back about an hour of game play. |

I noticed the same thing - I got dc and couldn't get back in for a bit (with the error code 40, I think), and when I did get logged back on a few items I had just picked up were gone.

Sorry OP, you can bold it, you can make it flashing red letters, but I think only about 25% of people actually read the first post in any given thread. Because there is no notes on the homepage about a rollback on Wednesday (N-O-T M-O-N-D-A-Y) I think you just had one of the freak incidents that happen once in awhile.
