What should a W/Mo use?
As the title says, What should a W/Mo use? Axe, Hammer or Sword?
I'd also like a reason why I should use it. |

depends for pve or pvp. Generally in pvp warriors are axe or hammer but considering that you are a w/mo im guessin your leaning towards the pve side of guild wars. So I suggest you try out all the different weapons first. If you want to get into the RPG feel and be a traditional warrior than sword is probably your best option albeit in my opinions it has a crap elite compared to the other weapon elites. During the early stages of the game sword is easier to use because of the Sever artery + Gash combo. But when you get into latter stages where you can get elite skills the axes and the hammer somewhat shine through. Ultimately the desicion is yours but... axe ftw!

i used sword in beginning.. after a while i began to use axes cose of better skills.
when i was in ember light camp i bought some nice skills and now im for sword again and sometimes axes for pve: pure strike-riposte(tactics)-galrath slash-final thrust-deadly riposte(tactics) are pretty nice if you ask me |

What ever you prefer. I have a warrior on each account, three accounts, so I have one of each.
Being able to completely decimate an opponent with a three hammer skill combo is pretty fun. With the recent buffs to riposte and deadly riposte, swords became a lot more viable. Especially in farm builds. |

it can be a good self heal as a monk, or you can use smite or prot, both being very useful since some of the better smite skills are close range (holy strike, smite, symbol of wrath etc...) or prot because of low energy spells..but that was off topic.
weapon wise...well, if axes didn't look like kiddie toys, i'd use em...and esentially, their average unaided damage is lower. it's personal taste, swords generally suck in pvp, hammers can own in both, axes...well...they're a pvp killer, pve not so sure. |

Well, a lot of people don't like to hear it but overall sword is too damn energy-dependent for a warrior, i'm not saying it's bad because with decent energy management it can be fine, but axe is generally pretty damn good especially if you go total adrenaline freak. Hammers can be very nice if you use them right, and have some nice big-damage combos. One common good combo is devastating hammer, crushing blow, and heavy blow (requires weakness on target which is given by devastating) with irresistible blow and mighty blow put into the chain however it works for you. Another nice thing to do is use backbreaker's nice long kd to do more than one target-on-ground thing, for example backbreaker-crushing blow-holy strike. holy strike is a cheap touch spell that deals more holy dmg on a kd'd target, so it's pretty nice for a hammer war with good smite to use, and having good smite is already pretty nice for a hammer war because of balthazar's spirit; hammer wars can sure use whatever adrenaline boosts they can get.
However, if you really want to have decent self-healing and will be attacking most of the time, use live vicariously and maybe vigorous spirit on yourself with an axe or sword; hammer's just too slow to make those worth it. As long as you're attacking most of the time which a war should be unless it's running or "book" tanking or whatever, it will easily outheal mending provided you don't have really low healing, but then again you need a decent number of heal just to get mending to +3 anyways. I use hammer myself. More damage than axe or sword, plus knockdown. People don't use it much because it's two-handed and a bit slow, but use an attack speed booster and you're fine.

Axe is the best weapon, followed by hammer. Swords are good for soloing because of riposte skills though.

In PvE use sword and get healing hands
In PvP use Ax or hammer and get an attack elite. |
