Wheres a good place to find some really good necro stuff. Is there anything for a necro in the sarrows furnace. Also if i have an item that i could use for another char. whats the best way to transfer that item to him.

The quality of armor maxes out in Droknar's Forge-- they'll have all of the Necro armors features there. The only difference between Droknar's armor and any of the more expensive armors is aesthetic.

With your item question, as soon as you get through with the Academy and move on to post-searing, a storage area becomes available for you. Look for a NPC named "Xunlai Agent" when you arrive in Ascalon City again and talk to her. The stash that they provide is accessible by all characters on your account, provided that they are post-searing. You simply put the item you want to transfer in the Xunlai Agent storage, log off, log on with the character you want to have the item, then talk to the Xunlai Agent again and take the item from storage and put it into your inventory.

Yes, i don't think arenanet would completely obliterate all drops for a certain profession.

The sand Giants in the Crystal Desert drop a lot of necro gear. And a crapload of hammers.
