are there specific talk channels in game? - Guild Wars Forums

I was reading another post and saw someone mention trade channels, this lead me to believe tehre is a way to ignore all of that "WTS ......." spam clogging up the chat in towns. Most of the time I am trying to get a group together for a mission it tells me "message blocked due to exessive messages" So, is there a way to only see type from people not selling things, or vice versa? Are certain districts sor of seen as trade districts or mission only disticts?

Well you can tag off the trade channel, but there's always a lot of guys spamming their sales in local chat...lions arch ( and ascalon ID1 ) seem to be the most salesmenspots

There are no specific dist to trade in if u dont want to listen to trade untick the box on the speach bar that says trade it is at the top of it.

The message you got regarding excessive messaging has nothing to do with seeing all of the WTS or trade channel items. What that is telling you is that your message wasn't sent to the channgel you typed it into because YOU were spamming message too quickly.
