im trying to figure out what build a R/N needs to be to find a group in Hero's ascent. Whats a ranger spike and ts? im just a little lost. thanks for the info people. and one other thing. Whats does r3 r4 mean?

to find builds look in the ranger builds section

ranger spike is a type of a specific build where rangers "spike" an oponent.

ts stands for team speak. this is a program that enables Voice of Internet Telcomunication, This enables teams to talk without typing thus saving time and enabling more syncronized teams.

r3 r4 stands for "rank" at rank. You gain rank after you gain fame. To gain fame all you need to do is win some battles in the HoH

Well the easy one is ts :P Ts = teamspeak. Its a program you can download that allows you to talk with the rest of your team via microphone.

A ranger spike team can vary. I've seen 4 ranger spike groups up to 6 ranger teams. The basic idea is that if all the rangers attack the same target at the exact same time, then their target will lose too much life too fast to heal in time. One skill set I've seen is:

1. Read the Wind
2. Dual Shot
3. Savage Shot
4. Quick Shot\Punishing Shot
5. Troll Ungeant\Healing Spring
6. Whirling Defense
7. Antidote Signet
8. Resurrection Signet

These skills may have changed since I've last played a spiker group. But that is the basic principle.

Make sure you are on a pvp character...because no one needs a non maxed R/N (Only R/N build i can think of off the top of my head is a touch necro)
