A Question about certain weapon upgrades
Ok, If I have a Poisonous Sword Hilt on my sword, will it increase the poison duration caused by Death Nova? I will be reponsible for the poision affecting the enemy, but I won't have hit them with the weapon for it to have happened.
Likewise, if I have a Cruel Axe Haft on my Axe, and I cast Phantom Pain on an enemy, will it cause the deep wound too last longer? I guess what my real question is is, "Do weapon mods affect the length of conditions caused by spells cast as well as conditions inflicted by weapon attacks, or is the increased duration exclusive to the weapon attack inflicted conditions?" |

Last I checked, the answer was yes... which is quite potent because the effects stack over time (play Plague Touch volley with someone while having a Poisoner's weapon equipped once... or use Chiblains > Plague Touch for a double bonus). Of course, everything in this game changes eventually, but it'd be safe to assume that conditions caused by spells still benefit from your weapon mod.
