Quick question about changing 2nd proff.
Hi!
I was wondering what really happens if I decide to change my 2nd proffession in that dessert place? Do I get any skills with it? Or will i have to buy new ones/do quests ?? Cheers |

You get the basics, I think usually 4-6 skills the rest you can buy or get from class specefic quests (since you havent done on that character before).
There are usually only maybe 6 or so class quests available however the rest you buy. monk for example, 2 then one from grazden, 1 at serenity, and one at yaks and I believe that may be all. |

Ok thx, for quick response ;D
Hmmm.. So maybe that's why you get so many skill points, I mean you don't buy nearly a tenth of what you get.. *thinking* |

The people who unlock all prophecies skills need their skill points
Once you start multiclassing a few times and getting all the skills... those points will seem very meagre indeed. Anyways, you get the presearing skills for the class you change to, I think. |

You can change to all other professions your primary is not. Trying out new builds without the trouble of making a new character, are you do is switch the second profession and buy skills for the build.

What if I'm an ele/necro and I have the skill quests for monk which I haven't done yet, and then I switch over to monk as secondary, will the skill quests be deleted form the quest log?

just completeing the quest will not change your secondary profession. you can complete all 4, then at any point you can talk to ANY of the 6 secondary profession quest givers and change your secondary to any of those for which you have finished the appropriate quest (or your original one). All skills learned remain but are unaccesible while you are a different secondary. The quests like any other go away from the quest log once completed (there is 1k xp reward for them as well).

And in case you're wondering, if you capture a pet after switching away from a Ranger secondary, you'll still keep the pet, ready for you to use when/if you switch back to Ranger.

also the dude that gives you the helping the dwarves quest gives you two skills just for accepting the quest. you can then cancel and change your sub, accept and repeat for 6 free skills from 6 different professions. the only two i paid attention to werre suffering and mantra of frost, but oh well.
