How do I change my second profession?
Ok, I need to change my prof from warrior to monk. I originally thought that I'd be using blood skills that required me to be up close (vampiric touch, unholy feast, etc.) so I decided to go warrior. Now I wanna go MM completely, so I need monk0-ness. I've already ascended, but I still dunno how to change it. I heard some people say you had to ascend, well been there done that. When I asked again they said to beat all the desert quests, but I don't exactly know what to do after that. Plz tell

you go to the desert (seekers passage, heros ascent, and destinys gorge) and the npcs there should give you a quest... complete the quest to change

Not sure, but I think you may have to talk to Vanyi in Droknar's Forge before you can do the "Path" quests.
Side note: You don't have to be a monk secondary to be a good MM. Veretta's Sacrifice and Blood of the Master are usually sufficient for keeping you minion army viable. Edit: There is a seperate quest for each profession. Two in each of the towns mentioned in post above (total of six but only four will be available to you) but you may only find one (or none) depending on what professions you already know. ....... did that ^ make sense? ...... yeah, but as I can't spam blood of the master and verata's only lasts for 21 (i think) seconds, I need heal area as well.

I've seen very effective N/R minion masters also... healing spring, but generally N/Mo is considered the optimal setup as heal area isnt interrupted as easily and casts fast with good scale for healing. It all depends tho, even an N/Me can do MM well setup properly, echo the necro minion heals... throw in some inspiration for even more annoyingly high energy gain or illusion for SV or sympathetic visage and illusion of weakness.

Although this is going OT, I have a N/Me MM, just echo Vereta's Sacrafice...
Any N/Mo think they can do a better job than me? I'd like to see them try. |

It's simple, one you've done the desert missions you end up in droks. At which point you get given a quest which tells you to travel to three places in the desert (you can map jump if you've already unlocked them). Then...
At each place there are two quests. Each quest is for a different second proffesion. So you do the quest and then the NPC asks you if you would like to change... if it's the one you want to change to, you say yes please. Once you have done these quests you can go back at any time and change your second prof to anything you want without having to do the quests over again I normally end up changing mine just to go capping elites than change back again when I'm done... Hope that explained ok |

thanks for the explanations, I remember when I first got to desert someone said that there was a necro quest so I immediately thought it was something similar to the rogue necro quest in yaks. When I couldn't get it he said it was cuz I was a necro and I was thinking "wtf!?" Well, now I know why Thanks for the help guys ^_^

You can do several or all of them and have multiple secondaries to switch too. Once you finish the quest, you can go back to any of the ghosts and change back and forth on your secondary as much as you like for as many that you have completed.
