So i preordered it, but how exactly does the "24 hour advance gameplay work?"

IF you got the preorder box you use the key included and you are good to go.

if you did not get the separate preorder box and simply reserved a copy you will not be in the early access and will have to input the retail key when you get it.

even if you get the retail box early it does not have early access.

ONLY the separate preorder box has that

well i preordered it sunday night with 1 day shipping...does that mean i will get the early release in time.

p.s-i ordered it from gamestop and apparently that offer is still on the site

as long as your order specified the bonus as a separate item and was on the order you should get it hopefully in time

last friday they had my CE listed as SHIPPED and today it says ETA 28th.

i got the preorder long ago in time for the pvp event
