I love how everyone says to stay out of the aggro circle. There ARE a lot of spells that have a shorter range than the huge aggro circle on your radar, thus you have to have them in your aggro to taret them for casting.

I think the truth is that monster attacks are a bit random, a bit thought out (like attacking the weakest), and a bit predictable. Its everything at once!

Most of the time, if you have 2 warriors and they stay close to each other, they will draw most of the heat. But like ohters have said, the Tengu bird guys and the Stone Summit axe weilders tend to go straight for the casters in your party.
