In the thread on the 4/25 Update ppl are saying the gear trick was nerfed.
With the multiple updates/builds that have occurred can someone confirm? |

The 'gear trick' is not nerfed. The 'gear trick' has been fixed.
It used to be that carrying items caused one character to automatically gain aggro. This is no longer the case. |

This is good news indeed. We might finally see some skill return to the game. Probably not, but one can hope.

I dunno if skill will return without cheap builds showing up as well. If you saw the kinds of changes they made to skills during that short period of the crazy update, there is gonna be some major funtime antics going on with that Balt's Spirit. 26 bloodly nrg per hit is the most insane thing I've ever heard of. It would make my farming a lil easier but it's a lil over kill and I'm hoping that's not the finished product of how they'll change it. During the short time we could play it, we found a primary monk smiter pwned all in the arenas with the mass nrg from balt's. I do like the idea though of getting more nrg from balt's spirit to counter NR, and to be able to maintain mass bonds. It's very rare that you're team is taking enough constant dmg to be able to maintain the max 14 bonds, but if they change balt's spirit even slightly in favor of the way they changed it tonight, 14 bonds would be quite the slice of pie
I'm imagining the day when 3-4 55 monks bond eachother up in a GvG and just stand there invincible with the now usable prot bond and all their other enchants. Last edited by TheMosesPHD; Apr 26, 2006 at 06:18 AM // 06:18.. |

The skill changes weren't intended to be released as they were obviouly not completely tested yet.

FA and oro are still very possible with a good monk and a warrior that knows how to aggro. Its about time we stopped depending on all those wammo's to protect us.
